At The Better Human, we believe that basic hygiene should never be a barrier to education.
Through the incredible support of our director, we have fully secured the funding to construct a dedicated girls' washroom at the Safalya Academy in the Sundarbans.
Current Ground Update: Construction is actively underway on-site with our ground partner, Swapan Suin.
While heavy rains caused a temporary one-week delay in laying the final brickwork, our team expects to wrap up construction by this weekend.
We don't just celebrate the victories; we share the operational realities. Radical transparency means showing the mud, the delays, and the real work.

At The Better Human, radical transparency means sharing the challenges alongside the milestones. Heavy rains at the Sundarbans site have temporarily paused the construction of the girls' washroom, pushing our timeline back by one week.
We are actively monitoring the weather with our ground partner, Swapan Suin, and expect the final construction to wrap up by this weekend.
