Do I need an account to donate goods to an NGO?

No. Anyone can post an item to GiveHub with just an email verification — no account, no sign-up. You get a private link to pick which NGO receives it and to confirm handover.

Who collects the donated items?

The NGO that claims your listing arranges collection with you directly. Sevastack does not take custody of goods, does not charge either side, and shares your phone number and address only after you approve a specific NGO.

What kinds of items can be donated?

Clothes, furniture, books and study material, electronics, medical devices, food, vehicles and stationery, plus non-physical help such as pro-bono professional services and volunteer skills. Hazardous items and e-waste are handled under a separate category with additional checks.

Can I get an 80G tax receipt for donated goods?

Donations in kind do not qualify for an 80G deduction under Indian income-tax rules — 80G applies to money. The receiving NGO issues an acknowledgment recording the item and its declared fair market value for its own books.
