55 of the 119 organisations listed in India hold a valid 80G certificate under the Income Tax Act, which lets an Indian taxpayer claim a deduction on their donation. An 80G receipt carrying the NGO's registration number is emailed automatically once the donation is confirmed.

Before an organisation appears in the public directory, Sevastack reviews its registration documents — trust deed, society registration or Section 8 incorporation — along with its PAN and any 12A, 80G or FCRA certificates it claims. Listings that fail this review are not published.

10 of the listed organisations hold FCRA approval, which is the registration Indian law requires before an NGO may receive foreign contributions. Use the FCRA filter to see only those organisations.
