Team roles, permissions and accountant access

Manage your team in Settings → Team members.

Roles

Role	Can do
Super admin	Everything, including transferring ownership
Admin	Everything except ownership
Accountant	Finance, payroll and reports
Auditor	Read everything, plus the activity log
Manager	All programme and donor data
Program manager	Projects, beneficiaries and volunteers; no donor or finance data
Fundraiser	Donors and donations only
HR officer	Employees, payroll and leave
Field staff	Beneficiaries and volunteers
Member	General access
Viewer	Read only

Only the Super admin can:

• give someone the Admin, Accountant or Auditor role
• void a donation
• approve journal entries
• close or reopen a financial year
• transfer ownership (Transfer ownership is the only way to change the Super admin)

Customise one person's access

On a member, choose Customize access to add or remove single permissions on top of their role. If a permission is both added and removed, the removal wins. Customisation never applies to the Super admin.

Note: removing a permission hides the menu item. Opening a direct link to that page may still show it.

"I don't have permission" / page missing from my menu

Your role doesn't include that area. Ask an admin to change your role or customise your access. Changes apply within a few seconds; you may briefly see "Updating your access...".

Suspend, reactivate or remove

Admins can suspend (blocks sign-in, keeps history), reactivate, or remove a member.

• "You cannot remove yourself" / "Cannot remove the Super Admin" / "Cannot suspend Super Admin": transfer ownership first.

Accountant (CA) access

Settings → Accountant access creates a read-only link for your CA. No login needed.

• Each link covers one financial year and lasts 90 days. You can revoke it any time.
• An expired or revoked link shows a "page not found" screen; create a new link.
• Available on Starter plan and above.
