About the role

The Cluster Manager leads CLiC's on ground Aftercare work in one district. The role has two halves that work together. One half is inside Child Care Institutions, preparing children aged 15 to 18 for the day they leave. The other half is with care leavers who have already moved out, helping them build a self reliant life. Across both halves, the Cluster Manager works closely with the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), and follows CLiC's own modules and case processes.

What you'll do

  • Run life skills sessions, transition planning and Individual Care Plans (ICPs) for adolescents aged 15 to 18, following CLiC's modules.
  • Visit every CCI in the district on a regular, planned schedule, and build real relationships with CCI staff and children.
  • Coordinate with DCPU, CWC and the District Magistrate's office for Aftercare Scheme linkage, including Form 22 facilitation
  • Identify children nearing 18 early, and put a transition plan in place for each one well before they leave the CCI.
  • Keep up case management and helpline follow up for every care leaver from the district
  • Enroll and follow up with care leavers in education, whether that is school, college or a bridge course, and in skilling programmes
  • • Guide and support the District Captains, usually care leavers themselves, working in the district. Keep accurate, current records for every child and care leaver in the district on the CLiC Portal. • Send regular field reports and updates to the CLiC team.

Requirements

  • • 2 to 4 years of experience in field programme implementation, community work or social work. • Comfortable working inside CCIs and with government departments (DCPU, CWC).
